It is with sadness that I share that my dad, Colin Parfitt, will be laid to rest on Thursday 6th August in Barry.

The service will be a small, family funeral, in keeping with his wishes.

Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages and support over the past few weeks – it has been greatly appreciated.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart I am sharing the news that my dad, Colin Parfitt aged 88 passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning🥲.

Dad had been living with dementia for some time, and although it has been a difficult journey for him and for all of us who loved him, we can take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.

I’d like to thank the wonderful staff at Hazelhurst Nursing Home for the care, kindness and compassion they showed him🥰.

Thank you to everyone who has already sent messages, called or offered their support. It means a great deal to our family at this difficult time 🥲.

Funeral arrangements will be shared once they have been finalised.

Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. ❤️
