Sometimes a bedroom just needs one thing to feel completely different. 🤍

This is the Ravello 9000 - a divan base with a strutted floor-standing headboard, and honestly it looks every bit as good in a home as it does in the showroom.

The Ravello 9000 is a proper comfort mattress. Deep, hand-tufted and built to give you the kind of sleep that makes getting up in the morning genuinely difficult.

Here's something that often gets forgotten and it really shouldn't. 👇

Underlay.

It might not be the most glamorous part of a new floor, but it makes more of a difference than most people realise. Good underlay adds warmth, reduces noise, makes carpet feel softer underfoot, and significantly extends the life of the flooring above it.

Skipping on underlay to save money is one of those decisions that tends to feel fine at first and frustrating a year later.

When you come in, we'll always talk you through the underlay options alongside the flooring itself, because getting both right is what makes the finished result actually last.

This one is a bit special to us. 👇

The Lowther 2000 is part of our own collection - The Arches Collection. Named after the heritage of our area, and built to a standard we're genuinely proud to put our name to.

This one went out as an end-lift ottoman with a floor-standing headboard in Naples Sand, and that storage space underneath is something else. Perfect for anyone who wants a beautiful bed without sacrificing practicality.

A few things we hear in the showroom that aren't quite true... 👇

"Expensive always means better."
Not necessarily. The right flooring for your home depends on how you live, not how much you spend. We'll always point you towards what actually works for your space.

"Hard flooring is easier to keep clean than carpet."
It depends entirely on the product and how it's maintained. Some carpets are incredibly hardwearing and easy to look after, especially in busy family homes.

"You can just measure it yourself and save time."
We always recommend a proper measure. Getting this wrong is one of the most common reasons a fitting job runs into problems and it costs more to fix than it saves.

The sun's out, the windows are open, and suddenly that carpet or floor you've been ignoring all year is very hard to ignore. 😄
