Dahlias by post throughout September.

An idea I had this morning. What do you think?

Dahlias picked freshly for you, by me, from my land to your home.

Bringing you joy and simply reminding you of beauty.

There’s a quiet shift in the air,
A gentle scent, that smells familiar.

I quietly meet the soft misty dew in the mornings, I welcome her back, as i have not seen her in a while.

Listening I can hear the breeze whispering, as she tells me she is blowing in the autumn air and to get ready for the winter, and so I will.

Anyway…..

BlackBerry coloured dahlias have won my heart, and I now know, not just mine.
So I will create a post on my new varieties, as so many of you have asked me their names. I need to look it up as I don’t know them off by heart yet.

Sometimes I feel fickle when have to choose my favourite flower.
It does seem to change quite often.

However Cosmos, oh she is always there amongst the favourites.

So much so that I sowed and then planted in the ground so many of her with my fair hands, that I now have an abundance, too many for me to manage alone.

So it’s pick your own cosmos time.

This Sunday 23rd in the morning at 9.30
Monday 24th 9.30am
Tuesday 25th 4pm

Please note this is for pick your own cosmos only.
It’s £15 pp. please bring cash and you must book as I will be limiting spaces.

Message me to book or with questions.

I haven’t done a little intro in forever and as I am always evolving I thought it would be nice to say some words about myself and my beliefs.

I can’t write all the words that are above here, as there is not enough space.

So if you don’t want to flick through, the main things are-

What is this life if your not living it whilst nourishing your soul and body.

I love the old ways, I remember the old ways and I am continuing to remember the old ways, the land shows me the way.

I am always honoured to create for you.

I just loved creating this bridal bouquet and buttonhole so much.
It was for a tiny elopement wedding that was happening today .

The colours, the light and the shape of the bouquet are just divine.

The couple also had a mixed DIY flower bucket to decorate the tables themselves.

I always feel so privileged to be part of such a tiny intimate day.

Bouquet ingredients-

Limelight hydrangeas
Roses
Dahlias
Grasses
Cosmos
Achellia
Anemones

How at times life feel like it moves so fast.
I can’t believe I haven’t shared this wedding with you yet!

It been two weeks already since the wedding of S and C at the most beautiful .

Their day was adored with florals in the way of a bridal bouquet, flower girl posies, buttonholes and a floral arch, they also had a DIY flower bucket for bud vases.

I delighted in the first poppies and when placed together with the wild cow parsley, I feel it really gave us that spring meadows feel.

Wild stems for wild stories! That’s what I do.
It’s alway a delight and honour to create for such beautiful people.

As I quietly met Beltane on a mild, still evening, with my barefeet on the Earth

I stood and watched the bat fluttering overhead, feasting so beautifully on the midges.

The moon was yet to rise, tonight she will be full.

I reflect for a moment as the smell of spring reminds me that I am here, on this earth embracing her and living with her.

I feel a sense of quiet, stillness and contentment.

That’s how I like life nowadays, quiet, still and being with my land. This place I call home.
