*takes deep breath* the guest bathroom renovation is finally finished after 466 days, 20 hours and 17 minutes of stress, some minor injuries, two birthdays, THE FUNNEL, floor crying, moldy cat food, Tyvek suits, full face respirators, falling through the floor, a literal water park in the crawlspace, over 45 mouse bodies, redoing the trim 3 times, spending our entire honeymoon fund, countless hours of therapy and so much more that I’ve probably blocked from my memory.
And ya know... I’m happy with it. The design vision is 99.99999% of what I had in mind and, as dramatic and all-consuming as it was, I love this space so damn much.
