Life of Pie.

I’m learning to throw bigger. But teaching myself is hard work, and setting time aside to experiment, juggle work, health and the boys is challenging.
I’m so grateful for all these parts of my life, some days the balance feels right and other days it all falls down.

All of the sessions and cake are free!!
If you know of anyone over 60 who would like to join, please send them along. This project aims to support community and friendship through art and delicious cake.

Talking to the camera is hard.

Some days it feels easier than others, but the last few weeks it has felt a bit too much. It takes creativity to make reels, share work and put yourself out there.
It’s a job in itself, and often can feel a bit icky talking about my work.
So here’s one of my many whoops videos (I have a lot!)

✨ Makes and Bakes starts tomorrow ✨

These are free creative sessions for older members of the community. No booking needed, just come along 2-4pm every Thursday.
And of course there’s cake 🍰

☕🎨 Do you fancy a relaxed afternoon of crafting and cake?

Our brand new Makes & Bakes sessions are start this Thursday 28th May.

Every Thursday from 2–4pm at Sterts, Upton Cross, we'll be getting creative together with a friendly guided craft session, great company, and of course… plenty of cake! 🍰

Here's what you can expect:

Every session is completely free and all materials and refreshments will be provided. No experience is needed - all abilities welcome. We have free parking and step-free access to our community hub.

There is no need to book - just pop in at 2pm and join us.

These sessions are designed especially for older people in our community - a warm, welcoming space to try something new, have a chat, and enjoy a little time for yourself. Sessions will be led by local artist and maker Sian Bush.
