The entire road is closed to traffic all day and there are all sorts of lovely things going on! Come and visit us at the bookshop (The old Post House, 9 Chapel Street) where we have all sorts of treats, homemade cake, books, cheese scones, christmas music and FREE SHERRY, christmastastic! ###

Hello lovely long lost, LOST & FOUND friends. How have you been? We have genuinely been really missing everyone. All the Lost & Found ladies are doing well. We hope you are doing well to?

There will be lots of your favorite cakes for sale to take-away by the slice or even an entire cake! and you can buy a book to read while you eat...what more could you want! Please come and support Chapel street traders, the road is closed this year so you can browse some of the most interesting shops in PZ at your leisure! X

THE END IS VERY VERY NIGH! AHHHHH!!
It's our final week!!! We are open as usual full steam ahead
9.30 - 5.30, Tuesday - Friday, so come and visit us please!!!
We will be pricing the last of our furniture tomorrow, so come and check it out, if u want to own a bit of The Lost and Found!

THE FINAL DAY - this Saturday the 25th October
We will be having a big THRIFT SALE, 10am - 5pm
There will be stalls of jumble and secondhand, clothes, furniture, plenty of vintage bits and pieces, all sorts!
We will make loads of extra CAKE!!! (especially carrot!) we'll make sure there is lots of space to sit and have one last cup of tea with us. The kitchen will be closed but we'll have lots of yummy treats to take-away or eat while you browse!
There will be music from our darling Molly all our favorite cleaning up tunes from the past 2 years and live music between 11am and 12pm. We want this to be a celebration of all The Lost & Found has been, so we really hope you can all pop in to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine, a wiggle, a chat and buy something nice to take home. So that's this saturday 10am - 5pm, the last goodbye!######x

THE END IS NIGH…
Good afternoon our beloved Lost & Found friends, we have some sad news to announce.
Due to unforeseen issues beyond our control, including some extensive building work needing to be carried out on our kitchen extractor system, we have had to come to the unfortunate conclusion that it is no longer viable to carry on The Lost & Found at Trevelyan House.
The building work will be starting in November so we will be closing the cafe at the end of October.

BUT! Do not fear! We will be gone in body but not in soul!

The Lost & Found will continue to pop up all over the place, so stay connected to us on here for updates on upcoming events we will be hosting or participating in. You will still be able to get a slice of our world famous carrot cake from somewhere we promise!
Although we are sad to leave our cosy home we have created, we are actually so excited about the future and all the new adventures The Lost & Found can have now we’ve SPREAD OUR WINGS!!! So please don’t be sad, just make sure you follow us on our new voyage!

We wanted to make this announcement quick, so that all our wonderful customers can have a chance to come in and say your goodbyes to Trevelyan House, snuggle up with some knitting and some hot chocolate one last time.
We have only 2 regrets, one, not being able to keep our lovely wonderful staff and amazing team of ‘helpers’ forever, whom have helped build the Lost & Found every step of the way as though it were their own business, which in a way it is. And two, not being able to see all our lovely customers faces every day, we realise you have all made the Lost & Found what it is, so thank-you.

So people you have 3 WEEKS LEFT! We have some fun events planned, lots of lovely things to sell and happy times to be had!
So come and visit us, we want tears, hugging, people desperately smothering themselves with cake, etc etc

Bookfair here today!!!
Part of PZ literary festival!
Nearly set up, OPEN 10 - 4,
tea, cake etc also available.
Rare and collectable books, also lots of fiction and interesting bits and bobs, so something for everyone!
We've been here since 6.30am ON A SUNDAY! so you actually have to come!!! ###

Good evening friends! Sorry for terrible facebook updating on our part, too busy cake making.
We are OPEN EVERY DAY this week, because we love you mostly and want you to be able to enjoy every minute with us.
Also because its Penzance Literary Festival this week so there is lots going on, culminating with a BOOKFAIR at the cafe on SUNDAY.
So thats...OPEN - MON through to SUN THIS WEEK, WOOP! CAKE!
