Guess what! I crocheted a jumper 😄 Nothing new there right? 🤣 well the news is that this time I made it up, no pattern in sight and I made it with a kind of poncho jumper idea in mind. It has got a lovely drape and plenty of room like a poncho but it’s short like a cropped jumper. It can be worn on its own or with a blouse underneath. It’s super simple but I’m proud of myself and the lack of pattern 😄😍

My last mandala test is now finish and I haven’t stopped looking at this end result for hours.
This beauty is the ~Camylea Mandala~ from Lisa Kievits | Crochet Pattern Designer and it’s a stunning 3D mandala with intricate details in each row.
I chose a lovely gradient yarn in blue and although I was a bit nervous at the start now I feel that gamble with the dark blue paid off. It looks amazing against a light background. I joined it to a wooden frame as always, a 70cm one, so nice and big but small enough to fit in any room.

I really love this cardi, so versatile and comfy. Perfect for the beach or days like today when you need a little something extra. It just lifts your outfits in seconds 😍

Sometimes I think I need to stop crocheting, my wardrobe is definitely telling me to stop but there are so many beautiful things that can be made and have got an endless amount of yarn to use 😄
A few weeks ago decided to use some lovely acrylic yarn that I had for a few years, only two balls that were saved for something special but wasn’t quite sure what it was yet. And then this idea came to mind and I’m so glad I waited. It’s nice and flowy, I love the sleeves and the simple structure.
And not an expensive piece either, happy me.
