There is something about a May morning that is unlike any other. The air still carrying the cold of the night before, but underneath it, that sweet earthy warmth rising from the ground — the kind that tells you, before the sun has fully peaked through, that today is going to be a good one. That was exactly the morning last May when I flowered Fiona & Gavin’s beautiful wedding in Crail.

Fiona’s vision for the day was so considered. Having grown up holidaying in Crail with her family, she knew the colours of the landscape well and drew on this for her colour palette. The coastal colours echoed in pale blue, soft lilacs and dusty mauves, lifted with warm butter tones and pops of bright sunshine yellow, a nod to the rapeseed in the fields this time of year.

Flowers tumbling from wooden crates, barn doors dressed with climbing stems and an outdoor ceremony against old stone walls, ribbons catching the light. All perfection.

2026- the year of the tulip.

This year’s tulips earned a grid space.

After two years of an uphill struggles with the tulips — watching them wither to blight in 2024, then losing more than half my stock to some small furry creatures in 2025, I am so incredibly grateful to have them bloom so beautifully this year.

I planted modestly so as not to set myself up for a loss but, as nature so often does, the garden answered with generosity.

Come autumn I’ll be desperately trying to remember the exact step by step of the 2025 planting process — retracing every step from last season, hoping the formula holds. But until then and until next year tulips…. We love you 🌷🌷🌷

Lots of Easter loveliness over here with chocolate eggs and easy mornings before we gear ourself up for a windy egg hunt.

Hope you’re all enjoying your Easter Sunday and the sun keeps peeping out from behind the clouds.

Spring has officially sprung and I’m off with a bang for the first of my 2026 wedding. L & C married yesterday at Errol parish church in the beautiful (but chilly) March sunshine.

Playing with flowers again, cutting stems and fussing with petals has made me so excited about the season to come. We’re still, for the most part, still very bare in the garden but beauty can always be found in the ever greens, the bracken and the wiggly woody stems of the perennials.

Remembering my first wedding of last year for E + R when I got to bunch all my favourite spring flowers together to create this little bouquet of wonder. Tulips, narcissus, frilly ranunculus, anenomes, cherry blossom, hellebores and more. After months and months of darkness, the return of the light and the colour in the new shoots is filling me with such joy.

I have my first wedding of the year this weekend and I’m totally bowled over that we are back into the wedding season already. The evenings are stretching on longer and the kids are starting to play in the garden again after school and I’m so here for it!

Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you are all easing yourself into 2026.
I’m still here, slowing down, resting and being pensive on the year past and the year to come. Excitedly planning the farm calendar, or at least, imagining…because who can really plan when Mother Nature is in charge? Even as I write this, I have a poorly toddler who has completely changed all of my plans with his sick day.
I’m in no rush to get back out in the field just yet, the fire is on every day and I have books and diaries around me most evenings. I love this time of year, purposefully slowing down to catch my breath before the growing and wedding season starts again. I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions, we’re still in the depths of mid-winter after all but I am being intentional about what I want to achieve from the year ahead and looking forward to getting the wheels in motion once the longer days come back. Someone described themselves to me as solar powered recently and I absolutely feel like that is something I can get on board with!

Congratulations also to all of the newly engaged couples who decided they have found their forever person over the festive season. I still have some availability for 2016 and I can’t wait to here your story so drop me a message if you’re looking for beautiful, seasonal and romantic florals for your day 💕🌸

I’m feeling so Christmassy this year and loving every minute of the festive preparations. After a few weeks off from floristry to concentrate on a few other endeavours it feels good to get back to the making and foraging. The first of the wreaths have gone out the door over the past few days with the rest of the orders being delivered by the end of next week. I’m fully booked now for wreath orders I’m afraid but still have a few spots left for festive bunches so send me a dm if you would like to order.

Christmas 2025 here we come. Can you believe we are here again already? I for one am looking forward to slowing down over the winter but not before we properly ring in the festive season with all the best winter foliage and a few berries thrown in for good measure.

My festive wreaths are available to pre-order and will be delivered the week beginning the 8th December. Large wreaths are £65 and extra large are £85. Please message me asap to place an order and secure a delivery slot. 🎄

For Valerie & Zack, who married each other September 2024.

A quiet moment before the guests arrive. When all the florals are in place and there is just enough time to savour the moment, a few last minute adjustments and a photo or two if I’m lucky.

The palette for this day was a gorgeous moody autumn vibe. Deep burgundy’s paired with witchy purples, blush pink and pops of orange. Wild and textural.
An absolute dream to being to life.
