We are looking for a skilled full time Painter & Decorator to join our team at Go Maintenance. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship and have an eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, priming) for painting and decorating
- Applying paint, wallpaper, varnishes, and other finishes to a high standard
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently and tidily
- Working with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional results
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition
- Following health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator
- Strong knowledge of materials, techniques, and finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A valid driving license (preferred but not essential)

If you've been on any of our courses you'll know we love triangles and acronyms. Here's Graham discussing the acronym PACE; Primary, Alternative, Contingency and Emergency.

When looking at the kit you have or planning to bring with you, it's good to refer to PACE. For example let's look at fire lighting.

Primary - lighter
Alternative - matches
Contingency - ferro rod
Emergency - friction fire

It's getting the balance of ensuring you have plans in place for if a piece of kit fails, without over packing👌
