Back in the workshop today doing what I do best!! Yesterday was spent working on something totally new! Not with wood, ceramic or glass!! I cannot post about it yet so watch this space and I will advertise my new personalised product next weekend!!

Today I’m back to doing what I love! Designing and cutting! It makes sense to do it whilst the weather is good so that I can get them outside and sanded and varnished!

At some point I must finish my tax return! 🙈🙈🤣🤣

I wonder which of my little apprentices I will have with me today? At one point yesterday it was all three and I literally had a turning circle!

When a customer discovers your work in Love Local Hub CIC, Milton Keynes and then sets you a task to create some wall art for an upcoming bar they are building! Who knew that it would let me experiment and find another route for the Woodlimation side of my business!

I created an svg file of the bottle shapes and cut them out of sublimation coated MDF. Then I created png files of the bottles and then sublimated the pictures on to the MDF at 190 degrees!

Hummingbird mandala clock!

**These are made to order**

This absolutely gorgeous clock consists of 11 layers of wooden veneer, and I have delivery mixed the colours to enhance the finished appearance. The colours include everything form walnut and beech to oak, cherry and maple. Each layer has been individually varnished to make the natural colours really pop! The flower and leaf sections have been handpainted using acrylic paints and the colours blended to make them as realistic as possible. The clock will be supplied with a supporting wooden stand.

Size: 280x280mm approx

£100 plus p&p.

Did I mention that I’m doing another pop up shop with the amazing solocraftfair?

Oh, well I’ve only gone and signed myself up for a four month pop up shop at New Acres in Wandsworth from September to January! Perfect timing for the festive period!!

It opens on 8th September!

I mean, it would be a little bit rude not to have to travel back down to good old Londinium on Monday with my stock, wouldn’t it? And even more rude not to take my buddy with me and make a day of it?

As the “BER” months have now arrived, it’s time that I opened my Christmas order books! Yes I used the “C” word!!

With three shops to make for plus Sandringham Christmas fair, I think it’s time to get busy!!

My festival order books are open from today, 1st September through until 8pm on Monday 30th November. I will not be accepting any Christmas orders after this date due to delivery and postage implications.
