CLICK LVT VS GLUE-DOWN LVT: WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOU? 🤔

Both offer stylish, practical flooring, but the way they're installed makes a difference.

🔸 Click LVT uses a locking system to join the planks, usually creating a floating floor.
🔸 Glue-down LVT is bonded directly to the prepared subfloor using a suitable adhesive.

So, which is best for your home? It depends on the flooring product, your subfloor and the needs of your space.

Not sure which to choose? Our team at TEKA Flooring is here to help.

WHAT MAKES LVT A GOOD CHOICE FOR BUSY HOMES? 🏡

Life can be messy: pets, muddy shoes, everyday traffic and everything in between.

That’s where LVT can be a practical choice. It combines the look of natural wood or stone with features that make it easier to live with day to day.

Depending on the product, LVT can offer:
✔️ Durability for busy areas
✔️ Easy cleaning and maintenance
✔️ A wide choice of realistic designs
✔️ A more comfortable, quieter feel underfoot

And it doesn't have to look purely practical. As this chevron floor shows, LVT can make a real design statement too.

At TEKA Flooring, we can help you compare flooring options and find the right one for your home and lifestyle.

WATERPROOF ≠ WATER-RESISTANT. 💧

They sound similar, but they're not the same thing.

Water-resistant flooring helps protect against everyday spills and moisture, while waterproof flooring is designed to prevent water from penetrating the flooring system when correctly specified and installed.

The key? Don't choose a floor based on the label alone. Always consider the product specification, the room and how the floor will be used.

At TEKA Flooring, we're here to help you choose the right flooring for your home, with expert advice and professional supply & fitting.
