We see a lot of posts regarding preparation, not doing so correctly, inevitably leads to failure. Believe it or not, the same applies to Polished Concrete.
Let me explain….
Preparing the concrete for mechanical refinement is paramount to the finished product. Closing everything off and surface consolidation will ensure everything holds together to give you a near perfect refinement. Here’s a great example performed by Neal at Floorcraft, Metzger/McGuire Inc. SRG was applied twice to fill pin holes, small voids and help bind everything together. The surface was then densified using Crete Colors International C2 Super Hard Densifier. The surface was then polished to 3000 grit. The picture speaks for itself! 👌🏻💪🏻
