𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞.
Not exactly the most exciting word in the world…but here’s how Pitti Filati interpreted it for Autumn/Winter 2027/28.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞…
Explored through three equestrian disciplines, each representing a different expression of discipline:
🐎 Dressage : Precision, elegance and complete presence. Refined tailoring, beautifully restrained colour palettes, braided textures and impeccable craftsmanship.
🤠 Reining : Calm, confidence and inner control. Think Americana, denim, suede, quilting, patchwork and earthy, tactile textures that celebrate authenticity over perfection.
🏇 Obstacle (Show Jumping) : Energy, resilience and embracing challenge. Technical fibres, bold colour blocking, sporty influences and knitwear designed to perform.
Not just styling cues. They’re reflections of where fashion believes we’re heading.
After years of “more, faster, louder”, the pendulum seems to be swinging back towards intention. Buying less, making better, valuing craftsmanship and creating pieces that are designed to last.
Halle-blinkin-lujah!!
We already know this. Every stitch is an investment of our time. Every project is a reminder that the best things can’t be rushed.
Which of the three speaks to you most: Dressage, Reining or Obstacle?
