Every time we drive past, we see how busy it is and say, “Nah, maybe next time.”

Well, today we finally made it our mission.

So we hiked up, stood there for an HOUR in absolutely torrential rain, completely soaked, waiting for the magical moment…

The train finally appeared...

It was diesel 😂😂😂, they have changed it without a notice. At least we got a good laugh out of it.

And possibly a cold 🤣...

Today was only supposed to be a quick, practical trip to Skye. A few appointments, pick up something from the Co-op, then straight back home.

But the weather had other plans, it was just too perfect.

I ended up wandering around Sleat for a while, and by the time I reached Broadford I thought I might as well drive to Blaven.

I really didn't have the time, but somehow I just KNEW I should go.

And then this happened.

I took this photo on the way there, and I genuinely think it might be my favourite photograph I've ever taken.

And of course I didn't have my camera with me, so I took it on my phone 😅

I have loads of favourite drives, but the road between Torridon and Kinlochewe might just be my absolute favourite.

If you've never been, look it up on Google Street View 🙂.
It's not quite the same as seeing it in person, but you'll soon understand why it's so special.

Just seen a perfectly regular house in Plockton listed for £740,000. It's a lovely property, but what in the name of haggis?!

I genuinely thought it had to be a typo at first, but nope. That's the asking price.

I know Plockton is one of the most beautiful villages in Scotland, but £740,000 for an ordinary family home? Have I lost touch with reality, or is that bonkers?
