A massive thank you to BBC Devon and BBC Cornwall for inviting me to be interviewed about my job as a Willow sculptor for the “when I grow up” segment on Saturday morning!

I’ve never spoken on the radio before or ever been much of an ‘in the spotlight’ person so was extremely nervous leading up to this interview, but had so much fun chatting to Mel about my unique job and how I got to be here!

Had an incredible day Pencarrow House & Gardens Events at Pencarrow midsummer fair today, will be back tomorrow for more workshops, more delicious pizza and tasty coffee, more locally crafted goodies and more sunshine 🌞

Children's Summer Craft Sessions - Make a Willow Butterfly with Jasmine!

Date: 11th August 2026
Venue: The Old Library, Bodmin
Times: 10:00am - 1:00pm & 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Jasmine has been busy working with local schools and the 3rd Bodmin Scouts to create a 'mini beasts' of Bodmin walking float for Bodmin carnival.

Make a butterfly to flutter home with you or fly it on the 15th of August to Fair Park at 6:30pm and meet us to join in our Carnival procession.

intoBodmin CIC has subsidised the price of these workshops to offer these sessions Free if Charge.

👉 Children must be accompanied by an adult.
