📣 Help us spread the word!

Colleagues at the University of Plymouth are looking to establish a Children’s Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) group and would love to hear from families!

They’re hosting a workshop on 7th November to gather ideas, feedback and input to help shape the group.

Lunch will be provided, making it a great opportunity for families to get involved and help influence future research and engagement.

📅 For further details, please see the attached information.

Just love a success story! One of our fabulous volunteers often identifies something special from the Scrapstore donations and makes it her mission to find it a new home.. this is one such story .. “This is the Sizzix Bigshot that was donated without a handle, the thing that is needed to make it function. I (SL) advertised it for free and it went to Alison in Tavistock, who had vision, and was able to create a new handle: Scrap metal, welder, k**b off an old drill, clever partner! Now it can be used at the craft workshops they volunteer at ❤” And we will keep in touch with Alison to hear more of its exciting new story! 🤩
