A big thank you to the Panel and architects behind a recent design review near
The Design Review Panel recently met in , near Newbury, for an in-person review and site visit looking at proposals for a new home in the countryside.
Sessions like this rely on the generosity and expertise of the people around the table, and the Panel is grateful to everyone who took part.
A special thank you to our Chair, Andy Robbins, for steering the discussion so thoughtfully, and to our panellists David Drummond, Philip Hanson, Bill Soper and Ian Firth for sharing their experience across architecture, landscape, planning and surveying.
Thank you, too, to the architects, Della Valle Architects, for presenting their proposals so openly and engaging fully with the review. A well-prepared team makes for a far richer and more constructive conversation.
Good design review, early in a project, can make a real difference, helping a scheme lift its design quality and respond confidently to its setting.
If you are working on a project and would value an independent and constructive design review, the Panel would be glad to help. Find out more and book a session at www.designreviewpanel.co.uk or email [email protected]
