An independent Yorkshire gallery run by husband and wife team John and Diane, offering a great selection of beautifully unique art and sculpture to make your home unique! We deliberately look for distinctive artists with a style that helps them to stand out from the crowd! You will find big name collectables here as well as pieces from lesser known artists who we believe have massive potential! We started the gallery in 2007 after being collectors ourselves for several years...

What wonderful neighbours we have! ☕❤️

Diane's enjoying a well-deserved day out with her mum today, leaving me holding the fort !!

But I'm certainly not being neglected! Our lovely neighbours Swirlz have just popped in with a latte to keep me going. Now that's what we call looking after your neighbours! 🥰

A little kindness goes a long way, and it's one of the things we love about being part of Pocklington's wonderful community.

And keeping me company is 'Easylife' by Zalini — who looks like he's enjoying a relaxing day far more than I am! 😂🐵

❤️ Some paintings just capture a feeling you never want to let go of… SOLD — Night Owls by Daniel Robinson Ford

There’s something rather special about this one. The warm glow of the cinema lights, the reflections on the rain-soaked pavement and the little snippets of life unfolding in the evening. It’s the sort of painting you could look at time and time again and still find something new.

We’re so pleased that this beautiful original has found its forever home, although we have to admit, we’re going to miss seeing it in the gallery! 🥰

🎸ROCK-ON 🎸

We’ve got a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll happening at The Acorn Gallery! 🤩

Meet the fabulous metal guitar sculptures of Paul Southwell – individually handmade using all sorts of reclaimed metal, old tools, cogs, chains and bits and pieces that have found a whole new lease of life! 👌🏻

Every guitar is packed with character, incredible detail and a healthy dose of imagination. They’re proper conversation starters and there’s always something new to discover when you look a little closer!

Of course, we couldn’t resist trying them out ourselves! 🤣🎸

We’re not entirely convinced Paul, John and I have a future as a rock band, but we certainly had fun trying!
