Hi... Jump scare.

Haven't posted in so long, the spark of being creative has taken a back seat over the last couple years since I became a mum. But it's a new year and I really want to find the joy in my felting and other crafts this year now that life has more of a structure.
Here's my most recent needle felt I've done. It was a Christmas gift for a newly wed couple and I used a photo from their day to create this piece. It was then framed and wrapped. Perfect personal gift idea and relatively easy to create as it was flat.

Hope everyone has had a good start to the year so far and let's hope it's not another year until I post some work 🫣

Hello, wow, having a baby is tough and leaves you with very little time to do your hobbies. Especially having a part time job also. But I got challenged with making this little beauty of gorgeous Roxy for my boss as a leaving gift. Sadly Roxy left our world over a year ago, so I really wanted to make sure I captured her character. Was daunting picking up a felting needle again but I'm very happy with how she turned out.
It also reminded me that I hadn't been on here in forever and I really want to start up my felting again in the hopes of maybe a few stalls at the end of the year. So I'm back... slowly, with anytime I'm free from work, parenting and keeping up with household chores I'm hoping to get the wool out.

Hope everyone is OK and look forward to sharing more felts soon.

Happy Easter everyone!

I am almost 4 months into my maternity break and this little bunny is taking up all of my time so I won't be reopening until they're a bit older and hoping to have a full shop for Christmas. But thought I'd hop by and say hello to you all as I did have time to needlefelt some cute rabbit ears and a carrot for this cutie!

Got last years needle felted creations on the tree and they are looking so cute.

I've come to the decision that I won't be opening my shop for Christmas despite last year being a massive success, I'm choosing to start the maternity rest early as this baby is zapping all my energy and think it's best to focus on relaxing as much as possible ☺
I'm so excited for this new chapter in my life and hope that I will be able to reopen next year.

Big Gonk on a shelf.
I couldn't help myself after making the smaller ones I had a give a larger one a go.
I loved using this super soft merino wool that has a blend of different rust and earth tones to create a more rustic looking Christmas decoration.
It looks ace on my kitchen shelf and compliments the items already on there.

Hello, I have been very busy and distracted in my personal life recently so haven't felted in a while.
Decided to pick up the needle and wool and make some simple but adorable Christmas Gonks.
Hoping to make them into a bunting. Might even make some big ones to sit on a shelf.

I will be stocking up some Christmas items over the next week or two and reopening the shop just for a few weeks for Christmas gifts.

*Unfortunately I won't be making any custom requests or commissions this Christmas as I will be on my maternity leave so really want to relax as much as possible so will only be selling items I have already made.*

I can't wait to get my Christmas tree up and decorate my house so making tree decorations might be a good excuse to get it up sooner so I can take pictures of items on it... 😜

Aloe aloe,
I saw a beautiful plushy plant in a giftshop but It was quite pricey for a decoration for my upcoming nursery. So I decided to replicate a similar one myself by needle felt.
I find that sometimes the joy in crafting is being able to create things for yourself that you've been inspired by that will be more personal to you and for a fraction of the price.

I'd love to try and create something similar in a faux plant/decor style that wouldn't be completely copying another retailer. I'll shall get creating and share with you all.
