🐶🌸 FROM A BLOCK OF FOAM TO A LITTLE JACK RUSSELL! 🌸🐶

Here’s a little sneak peek at what I was busy carving yesterday! ✂️🐾

No flowers just yet, just a block of floral foam, a knife, a little imagination and lots of patience! ❤️

One thing I absolutely love about my job is bringing something to life from scratch. Every day is a learning day, and I love pushing myself with new challenges! 🥰 dogs are not easy for me to do sometimes lol 😂

Now comes the exciting part… bringing this little character to life with fresh flowers! 🌸

HELP! I THINK I’VE GOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM! 🚨😂🌸

I seem to have developed a rather expensive addiction…

FLOWERS!! 💐🤣

But not just any flowers! Oh no, I have to take it one step further and start carving, building and turning blocks of floral foam into things nobody would ever expect! 😂

🐘 Elephants? Why not!
🚗 Cars? Absolutely!
🐶 Dogs? Of course!
🎰 Fruit machines? Go on then!

And every time I finish one, my brain starts thinking… WHAT CAN I MAKE NEXT?! 🤣

So here’s a little challenge for you all this morning!

🚨😱 WARNING! HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS WOMAN FROM MILLY’S FLORIST?! 😱🚨

🌸 PLEASE SHARE – WHAT SHE’S DOING WITH FLOWERS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND! 🌸

Apparently, there’s a woman in Dorset who has been causing absolute chaos with flowers! 😳😂

People have been contacting her asking for a simple flower arrangement, a funeral tribute or something a little bit different.

Seems innocent enough, doesn’t it?

WELL, WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! 😱

💐 People ask for flowers… and she turns up with something they never imagined was possible!

🌹 Someone asks for a funeral tribute… and suddenly she’s carving animals, vehicles and all sorts of crazy shapes out of floral foam!

🌷 People show her a picture and ask, “Can you make this?”

AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAYS?!

“I’VE NEVER MADE ONE BEFORE, BUT I’LL GIVE IT A GO!” 🤣🤣

Honestly, the cheek of it!

Apparently, she spends hours carving, cutting, shaping and arranging thousands of fresh flowers, all because somebody has asked for something special!

😱 AND IT GETS WORSE!

She’s been spotted talking to blocks of Oasis, staring at them for ages, walking around them and occasionally saying, “How on earth am I going to make THAT?!” 😂

But somehow, a few hours later, there’s a dog, an elephant, a jukebox, a car or something else completely unbelievable sitting in her workshop!

🌸 SHE’S EVEN BEEN MAKING PEOPLE CRY! 😭

Not because they’ve been disappointed…

But because she’s created something so personal and meaningful that it brings back beautiful memories of someone they love. ❤️

And apparently, she’s been doing this for YEARS!

⚠️ SO PLEASE BE WARNED! ⚠️

If you contact Milly’s Florist, you could end up with:

🌸 A Little Insight Behind the Scenes at Milly’s Florist 🌸

I’ve had quite a few people asking how I managed to make my fruit machine floral tribute at such short notice and how I happened to have all the materials available! ❤️

Well, here’s a little insight into how I work! 😊

Firstly, I’m a very busy florist, so I always keep a good stock of chrysanthemums, as they’re one of the main flowers I use for my funeral tributes.

I also always have plenty of Oasis floral foam blocks in stock because, as many of you know, I love carving and creating unusual bespoke designs.

As for the logos and details on the fruit machine, I have my own printer and laminator, which means I can design, print and prepare everything myself without having to wait for somebody else to do it.

I’ve also had a few comments about the Oasis and whether it was soaked. Yes, the Oasis was soaked! However, I didn’t overly soak it, as this particular tribute was a last-minute creation and was going straight out.

One thing I think people sometimes forget is that behind every creation are years of experience, preparation, planning and a workshop full of materials!

I don’t just make flower arrangements. I carve, build, design, print and bring people’s ideas to life. ❤️

Being prepared is a huge part of running a busy floristry business, and over the years I’ve taught myself to think outside the box and make the most of what I have available.

Not everything you see has taken weeks to prepare. Sometimes it’s simply experience, imagination, determination and having the right materials ready to go! 💪🌸

Literally had two hours to do this arrangement unfortunately a lady rang me this morning very upset that she had been let down last minute the funeral was taking place in a few hours. Could I do her a slot machine in purple? This is the best I can do within the timeframe. My main thing was is that the customer was happy with it.
