Florist and owner Lisa J Smith took over The Flower Box in Port Talbot in 1999 after training at Pencoed College of Horticulture. Working in the trade for over 28 years, we have seen a lot of changes both in floristry and at The Flower Box. Using only the best quality flowers and foliage combined with our skill, flair and passion for all types of design. By offering such a vast and exciting range of floral design ideas we pride ourselves on always being able to create the perfect solution to meet all our client's needs. We offer a wide selection of designs for you to choose from and to provide a unique tailor-made bunch or arrangement for each occasion, whatever that might be.

With just about 6 weeks to go we are giving you a little reminder for our little festive evening at The Flower Box!

Join us on Thursday 19th November, 5:30pm–7:30pm for our Late Night Christmas Shopping evening! ✨

We’ll have the shop packed with gorgeous Christmas gifts, candles, decorations, wreaths and lots of lovely festive goodies.

And because it’s Christmas, there’ll be nibbles and fizz too! 🥂

A lovely excuse for a little Christmas shopping, a catch-up and a glass of something bubbly! 🥂🎄

27 YEARS TODAY ❤️

27 years ago today I took over The Flower Box… where has that time gone?!

A lot has changed over the years and running a small independent shop definitely feels very different these days, so I’m really proud that we’re still here.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, whether that’s by buying flowers, popping in, recommending us or simply following along.

It really does mean a lot ❤️

AutumnAutumn really is our happy place 🍂🤎

I’ve been looking back through some of the autumn wreaths we’ve made over the years and thought they deserved another little moment on the grid.

No two ever quite the same, lots of texture, berries, seed heads, foliage, grasses and all those gorgeous rich autumn colours we love so much.

Some bold, some rustic, some a little more wild… but every one handmade here at The Flower Box.

After such a brilliant response to our post we’ve got them sorted.

Our Christmas Workshops are now LIVE on the website ✨

We’ll be running small, cosy classes at The Flower Box, with everything you need to create something gorgeous, plus plenty of help along the way.

Spaces are limited to just 8–10 people per class, so if you fancy joining us, don’t hang about.

Expect festive foliage, lovely decorations, florist tips and of course fizz & nibbles 🥂🎄
