She’s demoulded!

I’ve still got work to do.

I need to sand around the whole side in various grades.

Then top coat the sides and put some legs on but then she’s finished.

She’s not perfect (but she’s not meant to be).

That’s the beauty of art and of us. We are a reflection of what we see.

Beautifully imperfect creations 🥰.

My first deep resin pour….

Chuffed to pieces of the 🌊 haha 🤣.

To say I’m thrilled with these waves is an understatement.

Waves work 9/10 times.

So there’s always a chance that you could drive yourself a little nuts.

A few top coats today!

I’m so excited to demould this and see the depths of the ocean floor!

Underwater art is becoming a bit of a forte.

I’ve done it backwards and forwards in layers and this is the deepest pour I’ve done.

My Mum and I were talking about my art and she said she loves it because it takes her to the sea.

Thats exactly what I want!

I do my best to make unique pieces.

I will put some hairpin legs on this. Probably white I’m thinking.

Imagining a book about mindfulness and a cup of coffee on here makes me smile.

I am making a table….

I think I’m on the 8th or 9th layer of this.

I’ve kinda lost count 🤦🏼‍♀️.

This is a LOT of resin!

But I’ve not done anything like this before, (not this big anyway).

I cocked up a layer so changed my mind and did a different blue. Which looks better.

Waves are yet to come.

But I’m happy I’ve managed to salvage it by the skin of my teeth 🤣.

Thought of the day…

Take the risk.

It could be quite wonderful.

But you’ll never know unless you do it! 💛
