I have officially had to uninstall Vinted. Just for a little while. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m thinking I’ll reinstall it when I start Christmas shopping… 🎄🎁 or, more realistically, the next time I’m sad and decide I need a tiny second-hand dopamine delivery 😂

In all seriousness though, I think it’s really important to recognise when something starts becoming a habit. Buying second-hand shoes isn’t exactly a life crisis, but when you start feeling guilty about it, that’s probably your sign to step away from the app for a minute 🫣😂

So yes… Vinted and I are taking a little break.

🐙 The handmade wedding outfit is finally finished… but honestly, we’re all just waiting for the Beanie Baby head dress reveal 😂🐙✨

I spent far too long making this tiny masterpiece and I regret absolutely nothing! 👒🐙✨

The outfit is cute, but the hat? 👒✨ She’s the moment!! 🐙✨

⚓The sailor collar was the cutest addition and I'm so happy I went for it, I think it tops the dress of the perfectly and the sparkly trim is loads of gathered glitter tulle 😂 this dress was a labour of love!! But it's perfect and I absolutely love it ✨

✨ Okay, I think this might be a little bit 'out there' or OTT... even for me 😂🐙

✨ Can a vintage beanie baby be made into a formal piece of headwear for a wedding? 🐙 The question you never knew you needed the answer too! 😂✨

✨ But, if I can successfully turn old bedsheets into all kinds of clothes, then surely this isn't much different? 🐙

🐙 I wasn't a beanie baby collector as a child, but taking the beans out of this one still made me feel a bit sad ☹️ hopefully it will be worth it and this little piece of 90s nostalgia can be turned into something absolutely fabulous!! ✨

💜🐙 This is one of my newer purchases, but I'm absolutely obsessed with it and I have a few ideas for the perfect wedding guest dress! 🐙💜

💜 I LOVE an octopus and can't wait to see where this project takes me! They're such beautiful summer colours and I love how well they go together! 💜

✨Household chores? Nah, designing my next make? Yessss please! 😂✨

✨🍒 Now I've made these mock ups I am SO excited about using this fabric 😍 I love the colours and the stripes, it's fresh and fruity and perfect for summmmmer and could even be good for winter layering if I make the right thing? 🍒✨

✨🍒 Using deadstock fabric is all well and good, but I need to make sure I'm making items that are versatile and can be worn time and time again 🍒✨

✨🍒 I'm reallllllly leaning into the tiered floaty dress, the fabric is so lightweight I think it would have ultimate *twirl* factor 😂 🍒✨

✨ OPERATION: SEW THE STASH ✨

🍒 As you all know by now, I have a fabric problem (an addiction if you will), and I have decided I actually need to start sewing with it!! 🍒

🍒 So, I'm going to be picking fabrics from my stash, asking you for a bit of help on deciding what to make with it, and actually creating something with it! Rather than just letting it live in my sewing room forever 😂🍒
