We're an on-line yarn boutique crazy about hand dyed yarns and yarns from smaller independent dyers and spinners, especially those from the UK. All are yarns are carefully sourced from responsible yarn producers. We love what we do, which is why we have tried and tested every yarn we sell, it's a hard job but someone's got to do it!

This weekend, we’re celebrating a milestone we never imagined when Tangled Yarn started back in 2011, from the spare room at home.

Over the last 15 years, we’ve packed thousands of orders, discovered some incredible yarn brands, opened our little shop in Poynton, and most importantly, met the most wonderful community of knitters along the way.

🌈I’ve been working with Noro Ito on the Nightshift shawl this yarn is going to be coming to the shop in the Autumn, and I can’t wait.
💚I’ve had my eye on the Ginjinha lacey tee for a long time, so it feels good to finally be working on it. I’m using Retrosaria Vovo.
