As an indie dyer, inspiration usually comes from the world around me – shifting landscapes, changing seasons, weathered textures, and those fleeting moments that catch my eye in everyday life.
This time, though, inspiration came from somewhere a little different.
A Rave in a Skein
Electric Boogaloo is a riot of fluorescent colour, inspired by neon dancefloors, spinning disco balls, and the pure joy of dancing exactly as you are.
Hand-dyed on lustrous Rare Breed Wensleydale DK, Electric Boogaloo bursts with Azure Blue, Purple Pop, Fluorescent Fuchsia, Radioactive Green, Fluorescent Lemon, and touches of Black. Vibrant blues and pinks mingle with flashes of electric green and yellow, while darker accents add depth, contrast, and drama. The remarkable sheen of this beautiful longwool fibre catches the light from every angle, creating movement and unmistakable disco energy.

Trader Applications Are Now Open!

Join our friendly village market at the Flock2 Artisan, Crafts & Farmers Market on Sunday 12th July at New Longton Village Hall.

We already have a fabulous line-up of traders and are looking to welcome even more makers, bakers, growers and creators to join us. With both indoor and outdoor pitches available, there’s something for everyone, and outdoor traders are welcome to bring their own gazebos.

If you make, bake, grow or create, we’d love to hear from you. We’re proud to be a friendly community market that supports local businesses and offers visitors a wonderful variety of artisan products and produce.

The next colourway is in the bag and coming out of the closet.
As an indie dyer, inspiration usually comes from the world around me — the colours of the landscape, the changing seasons, weathered textures, and those fleeting moments that catch my eye in everyday life.
This time, inspiration comes from somewhere a little different.
From guilt & protests to neon lights and disco balls. From packed dancefloors and late-night fun. From being unapologetically myself.
Electric Boogaloo – Pride Edition is a rave in a skein.
The idea is a fluorescent explosion of Azure Blue, Purple Pop, Fluorescent Fuchsia, Radioactive Green, Fluorescent Lemon and Black, this colourway captures the energy of an 80s dancefloor lit by lasers and reflected in a thousand tiny mirrors.
Hand dyed on lustrous Rare Breed Wensleydale DK, vibrant blues and pinks dance alongside flashes of electric green and yellow, while touches of black add depth and drama. ‘Wildflower Prism’ will be available in the shop and online at 10am Sunday Morning…

Wildflower Prism is inspired by the wild summer meadows of the Lancashire countryside — overflowing with vibrant blooms, drifting butterflies & dragonflies, and golden evening light. I want this palette to feel bright, joyful, and full of movement, like walking through a meadow at the height of summer.
The stained glass influence comes through in the luminous colour shifts and jewel-like flashes woven throughout the palette, inspired by sunlight glowing through old church windows.
Think:🌸 vivid summer wildflowers🦋 drifting butterflies & dragonflies✨ jewel-toned stained glass🌿 warm countryside evenings
This colourway will be dyed on lustrous British Wensleydale DK wool, where the rich colours and natural sheen will really shine.
