🌟 Kaleidoscope Blocks 🌟

If you’d like to attend a workshop then we’ve got a couple coming up:

Saturday 18th July

Or

Thursday 20th August

The workshops are held in our classroom, cost £30 for the day and run from 10am-3pm. If you’d like any more information or you’d like to book onto a class then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

To reserve your workshop place a £15 deposit is required which will be deducted from the total workshop cost on the day.

This one is always a fun one, depending on your choice of fabric the results are so different. If you’re planning on attending one of these workshops you really need to call in and see Carole sometime before your workshop date to discuss your fabric choice.

Currently there’s a few spaces left on both dates so if you’re interested then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

🌻 Say it with flowers🌻

The ‘say it with flowers’ crochet along (CAL) launched from King Cole on Friday… full written pattern and video turorials all available for FREE.

It’s not too late to join in the fun 🌻 we’ve got yarn packs available in both Big Value DK and Cottonsoft DK - I’ll bring my blocks in to the shop tomorrow so they’ll be there for you all to see. I’m now eagerly awaiting the second instalment on Friday 😁

So far…absolutely loving it 🙌🏻

If you’re not confident with your crochet yet then this is definitely one I’d recommend. With the video backup and if you need any extra help then you can also pop in anytime and I’ll be more than happy to help if there’s something you’re unsure about.

It’s the fourth CAL I’ve made from Coastal Crochet - each one has been amazing! So even if this one doesn’t inspire you the past 3 years CALs are all on display in the shop with yarn packs for them all available. They’re always bright and cheerful - so go on why not have a go? 🌈

🌟 Happy Father’s Day 🌟

Today I’m sharing one of my favourite pictures, it’s a true reflection of our adventures, everyone exploring, but never far from each other 🫶🏻

Every day I thank my lucky stars that our two children have a Daddy as wonderful as you. You can fix anything (which they test to the extreme on a regular basis), you’re definitely the king of cardboard box creations (which I’m led to believe began at an early age), you make everything fun and plan the best surprises 🥰 I could go on…I don’t know what we’d do without you and I’m glad we’re on this parenting journey together! 🫶🏻

I realise I spent most of the week sorting and organising yarn, I added a few more things to the bargain box yesterday - we’ve got an order due and I need some shelf space for it!! So the box is back to being full to bursting!!

I’ll be adding a comment to each individual picture which will give each fabric a number, description, size and price. If there’s anything you’d like to order then simply comment with the number of the fabric you’d like to order…as ever order 3 or more fabrics out of this box and you get and extra 10% off each of the fabrics.

Orders can be collected from the shop at your convenience or I can post out to you. Happy browsing….

We’ve just got these four ‘yarn cakes’ from the Colourwheel dazzle range left. They’re each 150g and come with a free scarf pattern on the ball band (knitting pattern).

They’re 78% acrylic, 19% wool and 3% polyester.

There’s two of each colour (matching dye lots) so you if you used two together you’d have 300g in total.

🌸🌺 LAUNCHING TODAY🌺🌸

Say it with flowers the latest crochet-along from King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier launches today!! I’ll be in the shop with my bag of yarn and hook at the ready!! There’s a few of you lovely lot joining in with me so I know it’s going to be one of the topics of conversation for the next few weeks!

I was tinkering with the yarn shelves on Saturday whilst it was quiet so the Cottonsoft shelves have had a revamp! Perhaps that’s what inspired yesterday’s move about - just a few yarns moved and some new dye lots put out after my bonus post (thank you 🫶🏻). Anyway don’t they look so lovely together on the shelves! There’s more colours here than what’s needed for the CAL, but just look at all that scrumptious colour 🌈 I just need to do the same with the Big Value DK now too, but that can wait for another day!!

I’m so exited to get started, all the Coastal Crochet blankets I’ve made before have been such fun to make. And somehow making it at the same time as so many other people across the world makes it even more fun! Be part of the community and get involved today! Another brushed cotton bundle to share with you today, this one is more baby themed! Gorgeous soft brushed cotton fabric, printed with this cute feature print and 3 coordinating spot fabrics.

This bundle also contains four fat quarters which equates to 1 metre of fabric. If you’d like a bundle these ones are £16 each - if you’d like one saving for you or posting out to you then let me know and I’ll be sure to sort that out for you.

Wednesday - bonus post

Don’t get used to all these extra posts…Can you tell I’ve got a week in the shop on my own….lots of chaos being caused this week whilst mum has a well deserved rest!!! 😂😂

I’ve been busy sorting through a few display things and discovered a number of them we don’t actually have the yarn anymore (we should have most if not all of the patterns)! Some of these designs are popular choices!!

Anyway we’ve got a few hand knitted baby garments and blankets that are available to buy. They’d make great gifts for little ones 👶🏼 since e we’ve sold out of the yarn I’ve reduced the price of all of these items:

I’ve had a little display switch around - I know you wouldn’t expect anything less from me would you?! Which means there’s some lovely new displays and new things to see!

I also spent some time making up some more bundles - there’s so many lovely ones to choose from, and I could keep on making them but then there’s not that much room to display them, so I’ll behave…for now!

There’s a few new bundles and this is one of them, all brushed cotton fabrics this one is just £13.25. If you’d like a bundle let me know and I’ll pop your name on it. These are so lovely and soft - perfect for smaller projects! There’s four fat quarters in this bundle which means there’s 1 metre of fabric in it in total.
