We’re sad to share that Forth Blinds went into liquidation a few months ago.

We want to sincerely thank all our customers for their continued support over the last 10 years — it truly meant a lot to us.

While this wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we’re pleased to let you know that two former employees, after facing the uncertainty of redundancy, decided to form City View Blinds.
Starting out with just the two of them, they’ve already welcomed another former Forth Blinds colleague on board — continuing the same great service and familiar faces you know and trust.

We know you’ll join us in wishing them every success and hope you’ll give them a follow to keep up to date with their new venture.

Forth Blinds is a family-owned blinds and shutter company based in Prestonpans. We offer a bespoke service to each customer and are experts in made-to-measure blinds.

We know that blinds are an important aspect of finishing a room so we offer the best made-to-measure blinds in Edinburgh, East Lothian and the surrounding areas, fully fitted at the most affordable prices so everyone can have stylish-looking rooms that are the envy of their friends and family!!

Due to the ongoing success of our company, we are looking for a Senior Installer to join our small but ever-growing team. As a team, we are hardworking and supportive and no one person is ever left to deal with anything alone, we each chip in daily to help each other where we can. We fully believe in a good work-life balance and whilst we are hardworking and ambitious, we also love a team night out, which is not mandatory but highly encouraged!

We could spend some time listing your main duties and responsibilities for this job, but the basis of the job is to successfully install our blinds and shutters, using various tools, which will be supplied by us. Whilst having fun and creating an all-around excellent experience for our customers, “the customer journey” is our top priority throughout the process. Creating and maintaining customer relationships is a must! Another must is a full/clean driving license and experience in a similar role is essential.

We can offer you a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, which is reviewed annually. We also promote a flexible work schedule, while the hours are 37.5 and “technically” 9-5 we don’t mind if you need to nip away early for any reason. Do you want to work 5 days or 4 days? Do you want to work during the week or at the weekend? Then that’s up to you, for the right person we are happy to work with you to accommodate the schedule and hours that best work for you and your life. We also have lots of other perks to offer but to be honest we’d rather just meet you in person to discuss and see if it’s the right fit.
