Autumn yarns arriving by the lorry load!
Starting with Hayfield Spirit Chunky from those lovely people at Sirdar! A stunning self striping yarn that comes in a range of glorious colourways, reflecting the shades of nature, from soft neutrals to vibrant tones, something for everyone! The yarn is a blend of 20% wool and 80% acrylic making it machine washable. And of course there is an accompanying range of easy knit patterns and a crochet pattern too.

This is Ruby modelling a jumper made by her Grandma Ann. They photographed their cat Willow, then drew a picture of the photo onto graph paper, and then Ann was able to knit the picture onto the front of the jumper !!!!

What's on the hook Wednesday!
Jodie has been hosting a crochet along for the Sevilla blanket and it's going well. They are now at the stage of joining the 'tiles ' together and its looking good. But with a Janie Crow design and Stylecraft Life yarn we are expecting some beautiful blankets.
Looking forward to seeing how they are progressing.

Show and tell from the shop earlier in the week and Joan has been busy again. She has knit these two very smart vest tops or slip overs for her husband. Perfect to wear over a light shirt as the weather starts to cool down.
The yarn is King Cole Fashion Aran in shades Lewis and Skye. 30% wool 70% acrylic .Well done Joan and thanks for modelling Brian x

Rosie has just finished the Sirdar 2025 Summer Picnic crochet along. If you can keep up with the weekly patterns that's great but some of us prefer a gentle stroll rather than a race.

Show and tell from Saturday's knit and natter and Carole is back with a lovely cardigan knit in Stylecraft Highland Heathers DK. The fairisle effect bands around the waist and the sleeves are very neat and the contrast colour of the edging really lifts the whole look. Shades. Rowan berry and Brose. Pattern number 9794.Well done Carole and thanks for modelling xx
