October textures ❤️

I love Autumn and all the beautiful textures - it always makes me think of crisp walks, log fires and cosy days - I find so many of my memories are bound up with nature and the seasons - what memories does Autumn conjure up for you?

I got married in Autumn so it always brings happy memories - it is such a gorgeous time to get married when nature shows off some of its best colours and textures.

We’ll be making gorgeous Autumnal bowls of joy in my workshop on Saturday with Imogen Partridge, Watercolour Illustration so I can’t wait to share some of the lovely creations! Congratulations to Lydia & Tom who married yesterday Bury Court - hope you had the best day!

This was my last wedding of 2026 which has just absolutely flown by so I’m taking a bit of time off to recover before getting into Autumn and Winter workshops mode and planning for 2027!

I love a marquee wedding! There’s something so special about taking a blank canvas (literally!) and turning it into something individual and personal for a couple - you can completely put your own stamp on it.

These three marquee weddings from this Summer were all quite different in terms of style but all so beautiful, while still remaining natural and seasonal in line with my own ethos.

Nature and meadow inspired, garden inspired or hedgerow inspired they all drew from the natural world and their surroundings so they felt perfectly anchored in their settings while also letting the personalities of the couples shine through 🥰

Two of the loveliest people you’ve ever met and the most joy filled colourful day - the couple chose a vibrant colour scheme of oranges, pinks and lilac for their flowers which just fitted perfectly with the fun, relaxed feel of their day!
