There’s something special about wardrobes that feel just as considered inside as they do from the outside. In the bedroom, spray-painted shaker-style doors in Little Greene’s ‘Green Stone’ open to a real oak veneer carcase, with adjustable shelving, hanging space, and internal oak drawers with handle scoops keeping everything organised. In the spare room, the same thoughtful approach continues with doors in Little Greene’s ‘Hellebore’, creating storage that feels easy to use and simple to keep in order day to day.

It's often the details that are appreciated most after a kitchen has been lived in for a while.
The AGA cooker naturally becomes the heart of the room, while solid oak spice racks, chopping boards, and corner cabinets keep the basics exactly where they're needed without interrupting the flow of cooking. Shaker-style tulipwood doors with cockbeaded frames, hand-painted in Farrow & Ball's 'Oval Room Blue', bring character to the space, while a bifold countertop cabinet with sensor lighting keeps appliances neatly out of sight until they're needed. Finished with Quartz Aurora Carrara worktops, a ceramic Belfast sink, and a Quooker tap, every detail has been carefully thought through to support daily life while staying true to the character of the mill.

Workshop planning in progress, samples everywhere, drawings on the table, and plenty of decisions being made before a single panel gets cut.

A well-organised kitchen gives everything a designated place, making daily tasks feel that little bit easier. Hand-painted in-frame cabinetry with cockbead detailing in 'Wimborne White' creates a familiar warmth throughout, while walnut cabinet interiors and solid walnut dovetail drawer boxes add character every time a door or drawer is opened.

An Everhot range cooker stands at the heart of the space, complemented by fluted glass wall cabinets that keep favourite basics close at hand. A countertop appliance cabinet with an integrated microwave and walnut spice rack helps the worktops stay clear, creating a kitchen that feels welcoming and ready for whatever the day brings.

Some kitchens naturally become the place where people stay a little longer. The breakfast bar offers somewhere to pause and chat while dinner is prepared, with the deep sage-green island drawing everyone together at the centre of the room. Around it, a soft warm white perimeter cabinet, spray-painted shaker-style in-frame doors, and Carrara white quartz worktops create a classic backdrop, while the range cooker with a gas hob is ready for everything from daily meals to larger gatherings.

Glazed wall cabinets with internal lighting, open display shelving, a tall larder, and generous pan drawers keep the kitchen organised. Finished with antique brass cup handles and k***s, a brass bridge tap and globe pendant lights, it's a space that feels welcoming long after the cooking is done.

The kind of wardrobe that makes getting ready feel far less chaotic, with hanging space for the clothes worn most, drawers for folded layers, and shelves that keep essentials neatly within reach. Everything has a designated place, even the things that usually end up on the chair.

The kitchen island is where toast crumbs are left after a slow summer breakfast, picnic bags are filled for a day out, strawberries appear when the sun does, and someone always pulls up a stool to chat while dinner is being made.

No wonder it's one of the details clients appreciate most.

The details that make a kitchen feel easy to use are often the ones that stay quietly in the background. Hand-painted in-frame cabinetry is paired with Silestone Nolita Suede quartz worktops, bringing a clean and thoughtful feel to the space. Base cabinets and tall shelving in Farrow & Ball's 'Mouse's Back' add depth, while wall cabinets in 'Light Grey' and walls in 'Skimming Stone' keep the overall palette feeling light and cohesive.

The island in 'Smoked Trout', finished with a brass worktop, naturally becomes the place where people pause to chat while meals are prepared. Inside the bifold countertop cabinet, a pull-out oak tray keeps the mixer easy to reach when needed, so the worktop stays clear and cooking feels easy.
