Hand-painted cabinetry in ‘Wimborne White’ with cockbead detailing frames it, while walnut interiors and solid walnut dovetail drawer boxes carry that warmth through behind the doors, bringing character even on the greyest days.

This breakfast bar gives everyone somewhere to pause while food is being prepared, with the deep sage-green island naturally becoming the heart of the room. Behind every finished kitchen are the hours spent choosing stains and revising 3D design, well before any timber reaches the workshop floor. From there, oak doors are dry-fitted to check every gap, and a walnut spice rack gets its final coat of lacquer, so the finished room is ready for everything that the family might need.

Sunlight across this worktop makes rinsing fruit by the window feel like the calmest part of the morning. Hand-painted in Farrow & Ball's 'French Grey', the in-frame cabinetry sits beneath full-stave solid oak worktops, with a Shaws ceramic sink and Quooker tap set right beside the window. On the other side of the room, w**e storage above the fridge freezer keeps a favourite bottle within reach, and drawers with dark bronze k***s keep utensils close to where the cooking happens.

Inspiration often starts close to home, with cottages covered in climbing roses and morning light over the beach. That same Kent character carries into every kitchen, through solid oak worktops and colours taken from the coastal gardens nearby.

Hand-painted cabinetry pairs with Silestone Nolita Suede quartz worktops, while base cabinets and tall shelving in Farrow & Ball's 'Mouse's Back', wall cabinets in 'Light Grey', and walls in 'Skimming Stone' keep the palette soft and cohesive.
