We’re in the process of moving from Royal Mail to DPD for our deliveries.

We’re hoping that we will now have quicker deliveries (Next day) but the main thing is reliability.

Royal Mail service standards are dropping week on week and as a business we can’t sustain replacing missing orders without the ability to claim the costs back.

This year alone so far we’ve had more than 50 orders not be scanned into their system which means there’s no proof of dispatch so not eligible to claim. Other times parcels are sat at Preston depot for 4 or 5 days before scanning. On tracked services that’s just not good enough.

We know we will have some teething problems whilst website plugins etc get up and running.
