A spectacular White Tailed Eagle has been spotted perching in the New Forest, giving wildlife watchers a very special glimpse of one of Britain’s most impressive birds 🦅

With a huge wingspan of up to around 2.5 metres, the white tailed eagle is the largest bird of prey in the UK. Once driven to extinction in England, these magnificent eagles have been making a remarkable return thanks to reintroduction projects in southern England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Sightings in the New Forest are mega exciting, showing how these once lost birds are continuing to explore and expand their range

This latest sighting was reported on 5 September 2026 and is a super exciting thing to see

Love this sage green Scandinavian style kitchen we installed in Prittlewell! We took out the dividing wall to transfer this kitchen dinner into an open plan room for entertainment. We built a large decking area out the back of the house to extend the living space out into the garden. Let’s not forget installing a new downstairs toilet where the under stairs cupboard used to be 😍 thank you Evolution Racquet Stringing Services
