When modern kitchens come together perfectly, they create some of the most stunning spaces imaginable ✨

With the right colour palette, a modern kitchen can feel every bit as warm and inviting as a traditional shaker style. For this project, we combined rich brown cabinetry with beautiful gold tones in a sleek German kitchen design, layering textures and finishes to create depth, warmth, and personality.

Designed with both style and practicality in mind, the space offers plenty of storage, fully integrated appliances, and a raised island feature that adds interest and helps define the open-plan layout.

With such far-reaching views, we also introduced mirrored elements to reflect natural daylight back into the living space, making the whole area feel even brighter and more open.

As we always say — your kitchen should make your heart sing ❤️
And this one certainly does.

The clients loved the result so much that they invited us back to design three bedrooms and a home office too.

A Georgian townhouse, a conservation setting, and a kitchen reimagined.

We’re relocating the kitchen from the front of the house to the rear, opening it up to a south-facing courtyard garden and an outdoor kitchen beyond. While the original bay window at the front is beautiful, this move allows the kitchen to truly connect with light, landscape, and modern living.

Period homes like this already have so much character in their bones—high ceilings, elegant coving, generous proportions, and light that moves beautifully through the space. Designing within these settings is about enhancement, not imitation.

Modern kitchens don’t need to feel out of place in historic homes. In fact, the contrast can be what makes them sing.

This project is coming together beautifully and we can’t wait to share more of what we’ve created

Kitchens designed & installed in this price bracket

Today we’re moving into a slightly higher-profile range of kitchens that we’ve designed and installed.

These kitchens can be wood-painted in-frame or from our handless German ranges and will typically include utility rooms and walk-in pantries as part of the overall design. We use natural stone worktops rather than quartz, with many stone options available to suit different interiors and tastes.

Features such as bars or glass storage are also popular with these kitchens, although they’re not essential to achieving a beautiful, well-balanced layout.

Our German slab doors are usually crafted from natural wood and can also be fluted, available in a variety of colours. This style works particularly well when blending the kitchen into an open-plan living space.

Walk-in pantries have been especially popular with clients this year and are often built seamlessly into the designs we showcase here.
