💧 Water quality in the home — small detail or big impact?
After talking about why water matters, the next question is simple:
What does it actually affect?
Beyond drinking, water quality plays a quiet but important role in daily life — from personal comfort to the performance and longevity of building systems.

When we renovated our old home, the kitchen was one of the most challenging spaces: small footprint, awkward corners, zero storage.

🌿 Fun Facts Friday

The first Passive House wasn’t a house… it was a ship. 🚢❄️

The Fram, used in the Arctic expeditions of Nansen and Amundsen, was built with:
✔ extreme insulation
✔ airtight construction
✔ controlled ventilation
✔ minimal heat loss

It kept the crew warm through Arctic winters with almost no heating —
the same principles used in today’s Passive House Standard.

A century later, we’re applying the same science to create warm, healthy, ultra-efficient homes.
