And just in time for the holidays, this beauty has found its forever home! This cabinet was a labour of love - from filling in missing veneer pieces and replacing the broken glass panel to sanding ( and sanding… and sanding some more!), adding new glass shelves, and giving it all the care it needed. It was a lot of work, but seeing it shine now makes it all so worth it. 🎁❤️ May it bring warmth and joy to its new home this Christmas season 🎄❄️☃️

I haven’t posted here for quite a while, life was a bit tough recently. However, furniture upcycling still remains my biggest passion and I did quite a few pieces in the last few months. This chair was fully re-upholstered, swipe to the left to see some stages of the process. Upholstery is a real magic and I am happy that this chair will be cherished for another 20-30 years.

The chair is ready! Truly a labour of love, this project took me more than two years to finish, embarking me me on a discovery journey into the realm of traditional upholstery. The process of sewing is very meditative and gave me hours of mindfulness. The chair is available to purchase and is in my Etsy shop.
