Something you might not know about me — I love paddleboarding.

My husband bought me my board after I returned to work following my second daughter, and since then it’s become something really special to me. Sometimes it’s family time, sometimes it’s a chance to switch off and breathe.

It wasn’t until today, out on the water with the girls, that I realised why I love it so much.

After becoming a mum for the second time, I noticed just how much interiors impacted my wellbeing. Creating spaces that felt calm, beautiful and functional gave me a sense of ease amongst the chaos of daily life.

Paddleboarding gives me that same feeling — calm, clarity, space to breathe.

And ultimately, that’s exactly what I want my work to create for others too.

Homes that feel uplifting, deeply personal, and help you exhale the moment you walk through the door.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes in my business at the moment, and I can’t wait to share this with you!

New services and a whole new look are coming soon ✨️

Such amazing feedback to end the week 🙌

After an informal chat about some potential work, I shared my Instagram so they could get a better idea of me and my style. This is the feedback I got 💫

Messages like this are just the most incredible boost.

Little changes I make around my home to keep the space feeling exciting 👇

Every so often I’ll move plants, pictures and even furniture (if space allows) just to keep things feeling fresh and interesting.

We spend so much time at home, so our spaces should feel not only safe and comforting, but uplifting too.

Instead of spending hundreds buying more things, sometimes it’s just about changing what you already have. Moving things around, restyling a surface, or adding something small, can make a surprising difference.

I recently picked up some bulbs from Tesco and popped them into this planter, swapping out the pinecones that were there before. Such a small change, but it’s completely refreshed this little corner. Little change, big difference.

Next time a room feels a bit flat, try moving a few things around before buying something new.

Do you ever move things around, or once somethings in place does it stay put?

It all started with a tile…

Our spare room once had a fireplace, but it was no longer there when we moved in. All that remains are these gorgeous floor tiles 🤎
Earthy browns, warm reds, and the most beautiful, whimsical pattern.

I want to create a space that feels inviting and cosy — somewhere that makes our guests feel really special and honestly never want to get out of bed… ever 😁

The ceiling will be painted in Red 03 (our ceilings are so high, so a darker colour helps make the room feel much more cosy).
Walls in Pink 02, with the skirting in Green 05 to help ground the space and offer that contrast.

We're wanting to keep the bed and sidetables we have, so it's trying to incorporate certain features into the design.

Sample boards - module 9 complete 🙌

Sample boards are developed later in a project to showcase the actual material selections used in the final design. Pulling these boards together was both enjoyable and an important part of refining the overall concept.

The mood boards (previously shared) explored quite a bit of panelling, but as the design for this ground-floor space developed, the direction naturally shifted. It started leaning more towards mid-century modern — sleek lines, darker woods, and letting certain elements become the hero in the space, rather than relying on panelling throughout.

Take the laundry room as an example. Here, the flooring is the hero, with its colour palette and chequerboard pattern setting the tone. By stripping back the wide tongue-and-groove panelling, the yellow walls are still able to sing, while the floor takes centre stage. Anything more would have been too much for the eye — visual flow is key.

A good reminder that design is a guided process, and thoughtful refinement along the way leads to a more considered final result ✨

Happy New Year! 🥳

I've been meaning to doing this post for a while, so why not make it my first of 2026...😁

The first pic is of an Air Bnb we stayed in over the summer. The space just didn't "do it for me" and was lacking something. Now I know what..

CONTRAST!

Contrast is so important when it comes to interiors as it brings a space to life!! Without Contrast, a room can feel flat, bland, or visually confusing.

Contrast helps to add depth & dimension, define spaces, improve balance and harmony, to name a few!

Putting this into practise...
- a bold rug under a neutral seating area anchors the space and gives it purpose
- a glass table paired with a soft rug and fabric sofa adds variety and dimensional balance
- mixing warm (dusty pink) and cool colours (soft greens or greys) keeps the space engaging and welcoming rather than all the same

Check out the pictures that I've snapped over the last few months...all showing fantastic contrast either through colour, texture, shape, materials..

If you have a space that's just not doing it for you, play around with the above and let me know...I'd love to hear 🥰

Planning a house project for 2026?

Mood boards are a great way to visualise your ideas!

My recent assignment was putting together a Fixture and Finish schedule- a report that basically lists all the items in a project that are permanently attached (the "fixtures"- lighting, taps, sinks, cabinetry) and the surface materials (the "finishes"- paint, flooring, tiles..).

I used to create these mood boards to help me see what the space would look like with all the items together.

This is a project for an entire ground floor renovation, based on a Triadic colour scheme - colours evenly spaced around the colour wheel. Reds, blues and yellows have been used to cohesively tie this ground floor together, brining in different textures, materials, and shades/tints to bring contrast to the design.

I've experimented with different styles of mood boards- grid and room specific. Two lounge mood boards as I wanted to see how adding panelling changed the space. Which one's your fave?

My tutor specifically loved the WC and laundry floor, which I'm so chuffed with!! Any items/ rooms you prefer? I'd love to know!

Want to know any details of any of the items, let me know 😊

Colour harmony groups ✨️

For this module we had to design a ground floor space, choosing two different colour harmony groups.

What are colour harmony groups? Colour harmony groups, or colour schemes, are combinations of colours that work well together to create a visually pleasing and aesthetically balanced result. These groups are based on the relationships between colours on the colour wheel and include schemes like analogous (adjacent colors), complementary (opposite colors), triadic (evenly spaced colors), and monochromatic (different shades of a single color) (see last slide to get a visual representation of what the hell I'm talking about!) 🤣

I loved putting together these colour schemes, choosing the furnishings and floor materials to support and balance out the schemes.

Which one is your favourite?

Guaranteed wherever I go, you'll find me snapping photos of interior spaces! I love looking back through them - analysing how colours, textures, materials, and patterns come together to create a mood. Every space tells a story, and I'm endlessly inspired by the details!

What kind of spaces inspire you the most? I'd love to know in the comments 👇
