November is well and truly upon us, wet , windy and in joyous abundance of colour 🍁🍂. Halloween is behind us and Christmas ahead 🤶🎅🎄, as you know my fave time of year. Not been sewing much due to our wedding and health issues but ive got enough to decorate my home and perhaps next year will see me well and truly back at the machine.
If this year has taught me one thing its that its ok not to be ok and to not stress about saying No i cant do that. Once I'd have stressed that I'm not sewing and producing items, now i do it for pleasure when i feel i want too. That's a biggy for me but im proud i have done it. Never to old to learn !!!

After a very busy but exciting September, October is upon us with all the Autumn colours ahead to enjoy. I was pleased i had a sunny, dry day for our wedding, and love pics we had under green trees 🌳 but i am so excited for Autumn leaves. 🍁🍂.
Hopefully i can get back to my sewing as ive had some treatment to ease my back pain, but im sure not pushing, slowly is the way forwards.
Enjoy this month of changes as we head into cosy nights snuggled up to keep warm.

Welcome to September ☺️💜
Where has the year gone ? Ive not been very active with HFS for a variety of reasons im slowly getting back to doing some sewing but do find it a struggle sitting or standing for any length of time due to acute back pain😩, which im hoping to get sorted in the next few weeks.
I do miss getting creative and am always seeking new things to make so hopefully i will get back to it soon. 😊
My favourite time of year is looming ahead, Autumn and Christmas!!! Yes ive said it!!

Excited to get seeds planted and watch the new growth and it's subsequent blooming with a cascade of colour 💐 Then the veg and fruit growing and ripening..... The good life 😍

My monthly post again!! March is my fave month as its my birth month so special to me. Its a lovely time of year when we see more light and lots of new growth and birth. It can be testing weather wise but it's stepping forwards out of Winter into Spring.
This month I am trying to get more sewing mojo and as I'm finding that I'm more able to sit longer at my machine comfortably. 😊❤️
So goals set and let's see how we go.
Have a lovely 1st of March known as St David's Day.

Let's welcome February in, we are on our way to spring and more light in our days. Hopefully all the Winter bugs will start to disappear as they sure have hung around a lot. I've never had so many coughs! I had no coughs when I smoked!!!
Some productivity here at HFS HQ some black felt bunnies ordered with a specific plan in mind, by a lovely lady. End product will be shared 😊

I hope you are all having a peaceful start to 2023, Christmas seems ages away and now we look forwards to the future and what plans we have in place. It's not an easy time for many of us with the rise in the cost of living,but all we can do is our best 😊 be kind,☺️help one another 😊 and learn how to make do!
I'm certainly not buying any more "stuff" I'm utilising what I have to create items and in relishing the thought that I can do this and still enjoy my work. I'm excited to get back into HFS HQ and to some normality of life after last year and hospital visits.
