A Grade II-listed home calls for flooring that complements its character.

At Grosvenor House in Falmouth, MH Flooring installed Padstow, an undyed wool loop-pile carpet, across the feature staircase, upper landings and adjoining rooms.

The carpet was fitted as a tailored stair runner and finished with dark stair rods that sit naturally alongside the iron balustrade and polished timber handrail. Its restrained colour adds warmth without competing with the building’s period details.
