In 2017 a group of artists decided to open a cooperative in the beautiful Swaledale village of Reeth. Today we're celebrating the 9th birthday of Fleece! What a rollercoaster of a ride, and we're looking forward to welcoming more friends and customers this year. Thank you for all your support.

We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new Visiting Artists area in Fleece. Visiting artists are from the Yorkshire Dales, or just beyond. If you would be interested in being a visiting artist at Fleece, please contact us via [email protected].

Our first visiting artist is: Peachy Perch Upholstery Designs

Peachy Perch is the creative work of Shirley Turnbull, a Yorkshire based upholsterer, lover of colour and champion of wool. She creates colourful, contemporary upholstered pieces and furnishings for the home.

Even in the rain the drive over the hills to our shop in Reeth is stunning with amazing clouds and the light reflected on the hills. Come and see how our artists get inspiration from this landscape in their work

The railings outside the shop are the perfect place to dry my luscious looped hand dyed mohair. Folk have been takings photos in front of this colourful display. We are open all bank holiday so pay us a visit
