Welcome to Anita de Villiers Interior Design.

Based in Reigate, my studio specialises in elegant, considered interiors for homeowners across Surrey and the South East.

A renovation brings hundreds of decisions and the quiet worry of getting them wrong. I take that weight off your shoulders, bringing clarity to every choice so the finished home feels calm, settled, and right for the way you live. Fourteen years of design expertise across the UK, South Africa, and the Mediterranean have shaped how I work: warm materials, light handled carefully, and rooms that feel relaxed rather than formal.

I personally manage every stage, from the first site survey to the finished room. By resolving layouts, joinery, and technical details before work begins, I provide complete visual certainty so the result feels exactly as you envisioned.

My design services are structured to meet you where you are:

• Full Interior Design
• Curated Room Design
• In-House Consultancy

A complete transformation, achieved without starting from scratch.

This is what a considered design process looks like from start to finish. The room had good proportions but was not working for the family. What it needed was a new layout with two distinct zones, a lighting scheme that works properly and materials chosen to feel cohesive from the beginning.

If your home feels like it has potential you are not quite reaching, that is exactly where I start.

I am currently taking on new projects in Surrey. Book a free discovery call via the link in my bio. 🤎

A dining room that had been closed off for years, finally given a reason to be used.

The brief was clear: keep the dining table and chairs, made from sleeper wood and brought back from Africa, and build an entirely new scheme around them. New brass chandelier. Fresh paint replacing heavy wallpaper. A large abstract canvas to anchor the room and give it a focal point it never had before.

The pieces the clients had always loved now sit in a room they actually want to be in.🤎

A renovation involves hundreds of decisions. Layout, lighting, materials, joinery, finishes. Most clients know exactly how they want their home to feel. What they need is a clear starting point and someone they can trust to take the weight of it all off their shoulders.

Swipe through to see the five things I do on every project that make the whole process clearer, calmer and far less likely to go wrong.

I am based in Reigate and work with homeowners across Surrey. Currently taking on new projects from July 2026.

THE SECRET TO CREATING AN AMAZING SMALL BATHROOM 💙

A small bathroom or shower-room usually comes down to one thing: the layout. Here is what I look at first:

Place all sanitaryware on one wall where possible. It frees up floor space and makes the room feel larger.

A curved shower enclosure creates more usable space and removes those awkward sharp corners.

Light-coloured, slightly glossy tiles on the walls reflect light and open the room up.

Every millimetre counts in a small bathroom. Getting the layout right before choosing finishes is the essential first step.
