Denis Killen sadly passed away peacefully on 6th October, surrounded by his beloved wife Sheila, son Tim, daughter Heidi and granddaughter Destiny.

Denis and Sheila made Ringwood their home in 1967, taking over Lunns, which became such a big part of their lives and the local community. From the newsagents and stationery to toys, arts and crafts and even a picture gallery.

He was a huge part of Ringwood life - through Rotary, local business organisations, the District Council and, of course, playing Father Christmas for around 40 years!

In later years he continued to keep busy, enjoying Probus, the Veterans Hub and the Blind Club most importantly, making friends and enjoying life.

Above all, Denis loved Sheila, his family, his friends and his community.

One hell of a life. One hell of a ride. One hell of a guy.

Denis’s memorial service will be held on 29th October at Ringwood Church at 1:30pm.
