Who remembers Wee Willie Winkie? I do 🙋🏻‍♀️🕯️

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about these old-fashioned candlestick holders, isn’t there?

And I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE the warm, cosy glow of candlelight on a dark autumn evening. 🍂

This week we’re bringing a little of that old-fashioned charm into the studio with our Wee Willie Winkie Pottery Workshop, where you’ll create your very own pair of handmade candlestick holders.

Perfect for those cosy evenings and something you’ll treasure for years to come.

🧡 A little Sunday honesty…

This week has been a tough one.

Between feeling poorly and some difficult stuff going on behind the scenes, I’ve had to make decisions I really didn’t want to make, including cancelling my own workshop at very short notice.

And if you know me, you’ll know how much I hate letting people down.

But sometimes life has other plans, doesn’t it?

I’ve always said our studio is a place to escape. Somewhere you can leave everything at the door for a couple of hours, switch off, get creative, have a cuppa and just be YOU.

And this week has reminded me just how important that really is.

Because sometimes your head is so full, there’s simply no room for anything else.

I’ve realised that I can’t always just put my apron on, smile and carry on as normal. Sometimes I need to take my own advice and give myself a little breathing space too. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding this week. Your kindness has meant so much.

THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY… 👀

We’ve all done it, haven’t we? 😂

Spotted something we REALLY fancied doing, thought “Ooooh, I’ll book that later”… and then later never happened.

Maybe the date didn’t work, life got in the way, you couldn’t convince your mate to come along, or it sold out before you got around to it.

Well, I’m being nosy again! 🫶🏻

If ever there was a season made for pottery… this is it! 🧡 🕯️ 👼🏼 🎄

Cosy afternoons, hands covered in clay, a cuppa (and cake, obviously!) and a few hours where the rest of the world can just wait.
