A beautiful result with Invictus Maximus Highland Oak - a premium glue-down LVT with a 0.55 mm commercial-grade wear layer, Scratchmaster coating for serious scratch and stain resistance, and a 25-year residential warranty.

It is 100% waterproof and rated for intensive commercial use, so a busy household is no problem at all. The subfloor on this one needed careful attention before we could start.

We applied a liquid damp-proof membrane first to seal the concrete against any moisture issues, then primed the surface and finished with ARDEX NA screed to get it perfectly smooth and level. That prep work is what protects the floor and the warranty for years to come.

That bottom step is the one that catches your eye. The bullnose has a rounded edge that most fitters would rather avoid - it needs the carpet hand-cut at an angle and wrapped smoothly without a single crease. Charlie made it look effortless.

The full staircase is fitted in Varinia herringbone, individually templated so the pattern runs true from step to step, with black taped edges for a sharp, tailored finish. It is bleach-cleanable, stain-resistant, rated for heavy domestic use, and backed by a 10-year guarantee.
