Rochdale bathrooms 🤣 we’ve had some tough bathrooms to install this year!

This one being one of the smallest we’ve had which always makes it abit more difficult when installing, but we got there in the end!

Our customer wanted to get rid of the bath and have a walk in style shower and also abit more storage within the bathroom.

We had to build a seating area which is fully waterproof (tanked) because of the bulkhead of the stairs running into the bathroom 🥲

This is going to bit a LONG post 😅

This is our first bathroom installation completed in littleborough of the new year.

Its took 14days and a lot of hard work to get this one done and we’re super happy with the outcome.

You might think 14days to complete a bathroom renovation?! Seems a long time…but it’s the hidden problems you find and then rectifying them.

This one took us 2 days to strip back completely (back to brick/studs, floor boards up) and as we took the floorboards up and inspection of the joists we noticed one HAD to be replaced and it was that badly damaged. To rectify this joist we had to install a new one from the kitchen ceiling below creating a bit of a mess but the right thing to do.

What we’re getting at is theres alot of “bathroom fitters” who are in and out as fast as they can be, to get paid as fast as possible. WE care about the service we provide and we’re proud of all our bathroom installations that we do take every bathroom back to brick/studs and the floorboards come up, because whats the point in spending your hard earned money on a new bathroom when your walls, floorboards, joists and pipework are all old, used and worn (potentially dangerous) and inevitably get an issue with your new bathroom because it costs a little more to have it done correctly.

We maybe a tad more expensive (not always!) than your local one man band who isn’t VAT registered but we’re an established business over many, many years who provides a top quality service with a 5 year labour guarantee to back that.

So back to the bathroom 😅

Our customer has been amazing throughout the whole bathroom renovation process and has looked after us very well and we appreciate that as with all of our customers.

Finished this a couple week ago for a lovely little family in littleborough who supplied us with endless amounts of coffee 😂

Although it’s only a small cloakroom dont be deceived by the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.

From altering the radiator, switching the basin and toilet to making the incoming mains supply accessible via the vanity cupboard.

A great choice of products from our customers for they’re new WC cloackroom.

We finished this bathroom installation and soil stack replacement last week with the help of lee’s plumbing and heating 🙏

Fantastic customers who looked after us whilst we completed some very messy works!

Lovely little family looked after us whilst we took on the bathroom renovation and We love the look of this one! 😍

Customers opted for a mixture of brass and black fixtures and it just pops 👌

Called in for this bathroom renovation and so much work went into this.

Anyone who says old houses we’re built better, they’re lying 🤥😂

We had to build new stud walls all around the room because the walls were that far out.

But overall not much room was lost by building the new walls.

We also managed to use the basin again as requested by our customer.

We delighted with the outcome of this bathroom installation 😁

Our customer wanted a walk in shower which was only just possible with the vanity unit 👌

Black fixtures were used in the bathroom, becoming very popular at the moment

Mirror cabinet with a demister pad, shaver socket and also Bluetooth to play your favourite songs whilst showering 🧼

Small downstairs cloakroom complete 😁

The joists were badly rotten and almost none existant on this because of a leak the customer had.

New joists and floorboards installed ready for the lino.

Customer opted for a brass fixture finish and blue tiles which we think complemented each other really well!

These sofia tiles from Tile Giant are stunning and present the bathroom really well!

Also used UltraTile tile adhesive and really liked it 👌
