A project we completed recently fitting Brampton Chase in the colour Ivory White in this customers home🏡
Step 1: We prepare the sub floor to create a flat, rigid, and stable surface. Before laying plywood sheets, we ensure the subfloor is thoroughly cleaned and we check the floor and remove any debris to allow the sheets to lay as flat as possible. The plywood is then nailed down, we do this in a grid pattern to prevent movement🔨
Step 2: We feather the floor using ardex.uk feather finish. We apply the feather with a steel trowel to smooth out the subfloor, it helps to smooth any ridges and joints. This technique creates a seamless transition, prevents floor failure, and prepares surfaces for the chosen flooring product📏
Step 3: We prepare and fit the product. We created a template and established a precise starting point to ensure the floor in centred around the room. We cut and prepare the LVT planks and glue out each area before fitting the floor✏️
And then we have the finished floor, and a happy customer✅😊
