WE DID IT… tonight we won BEST CREATIVE BUSINESS at the Stockport Business Awards
I am so proud to receive this award as it recognises the creative process that goes into to each design.
A Beautiful Sign started on my children’s playroom floor, squeezed in between the school run, the nursery run and making the tea.
There was no big budget and no marketing team but what I did have was a love of words and a belief that the right words, in the right moment, can mean everything to someone.
That’s really what we do. We don’t just make gifts. We help people say the things that matter most.
One day it might be a customer who’s just found out she’s pregnant and wants the perfect way to share the news with her family. The next it might be a family who have lost someone they love and are searching for the right words to express their loss. Both moments are so personal, and it’s a real privilege to be part of them.
Today I’m lucky enough to have an incredible team around me. And the proudest part for me is that my three children, who were once playing around me on that playroom floor, now work alongside me.
I still design and make every product myself, because that personal touch is the heart of what we do, but I couldn’t do any of it without them and the rest of our team.
