Phase 1 for lovely customers who have recently relocated to our beautiful county. I'm not sure I've ever known so many windows for a first phase installation, but in total we manufactured and installed nine Allusion blinds, the largest of which was almost 5 metres wide, four motorised cellular blinds, 14 Perfect Fit cellular blinds and four roller blinds with a cassette finish. Cellular fabric throughout is Luna Walnut, Allusion fabric is Horizon Parchment and roller fabric is Treviso Pomelo. All fabrics and components bar the roller fabric are from , with the roller fabric from Fabric Box Collection. We'll be back in August for the next installation, another 10 Perfect Fit cellular blinds! We'd like to thank our customers for ordering with us, they've been a joy to work with. We wish them many happy years in their fantastic new home.

My front door has recently had a glow up, so I'd like to give a shout out to The Architectural Store for the fantastic hedgehog door knocker, brass door k***s and the cute little star hook for my keys. It is a treasure trove of wonderfulness.

I also love popping in to see Jerry at Cotswold Vintage Curios and find his window very dangerous indeed 👀 I have a penchant for curious things, so it is impossible to go in and buy one thing, I have to leave with two! Not posting any pics as I don't wish to be judged 😄

I've also discovered that The Inkpot Tattoos & Curiosities make the most incredible coffee. It's top notch and, for my taste, the best in town. Price wise it's on a par with the Costa machine in One Stop, which is hard to believe. Great value, do try it!

Recently I bought some dried flowers and a painting from Beecher’s Gallery
Lovely customer service and the painting in particular is such a special item.

I also had a great experience in Timpsons today for my passport photos, and I even look human, which was a nice surprise!

We are now fully booked until 20th August. If you are already in the process and awaiting confirmation of either a measure or installation date, we have appointments set aside for you, and Liv will be in touch within the next day or two.

If wishing to postpone or reschedule an existing booking, please be aware that we may not be able to find you an alternative until August, although we will of course do our best.

New enquiries: please join our cancellations list. We're often part of a larger project that may not run to time, so appointments can and do become available when other bookings shift around.

A recent installation near Ledbury for a new customer. In total eleven motorised cellular blinds running off One Touch motors with solar trickle panels installed behind, plus four Perfect Fit cellular blinds on the doors. All were paired to a smart hub.

Fabric is Luna Bone. All blinds were made to measure in our own workshop, from scratch.

This bedroom had an air conditioning unit installed and it was still extremely warm during the fit. Once the blinds were installed and operational there was immediately a noticeable difference in room temperature. In turn, shading the room will aid the air con to operate more efficiently. We've seen a few comments recently from people who lack expert working knowledge of shading claiming that internal blinds will make no difference to the temperature inside your home. This isn't true, you just need the correct products. There are products specifically designed to reduce both heat gain and heat loss. The principle is "Shade first, cool later".

Back in April we returned to The Loughpool Inn for the installation of a full hardwood S:Craft Fiji shutter in the main bar area. James picked the wood stain finish Old Teak to blend seamlessly with the original timbers. We're looking forward to heading back next month to install more Roman blinds, this time in the small bar and snug. I drink a lot of coffee and I have to say, the coffee at The Loughpool is by far the best around, in my opinion anyway! If you haven't yet visited, you won't be disappointed with the beautiful surroundings both inside and out, and the varied menu crafted from local produce.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to US! 🎉 A huge thank you to our customers, colleagues and suppliers for being part of our journey over the past 8 years. We're thankful to all who choose to shop on their local high street, ensuring small independent businesses such as ours can thrive. We're immensely proud of the successful business we've built, but we couldn't have done it without all of you who have ordered with us. These were the final two of fifteen Blind Screens for a new customer, with John and I undergoing a quick test to ensure we've delivered 100% black out. They are thermally efficient in both hot and cold conditions, stain resistant and child safe. Other options are available, including light filtering fabric, insect screens and voiles. On Tuesday 17th March we were the proud sponsors of Vs Fylde FC in their National League North match at the M andM Edgar Street stadium. An installation from earlier this month showcases our seamstress's exceptional skill and craftsmanship. Downstairs we installed a goblet pleat valance with button finish, paired with double pleat curtains and a Roman blind to match. Our customer waited an awfully long time for this fabric, Fitzrovia (Porcelain) from Prestigious Textiles, to come back into stock, and we were suitably relieved when she was delighted with the end result. Upstairs we installed two pairs of double pleat curtains with matching tiebacks; fabric is Chatham Glyn Nice (Bleu) trimmed with Toulon (Bleu). The track and poles were our customers'own ♥️

Last month we completed the first phase of an installation for James & the team at the wonderful The Loughpool Inn at Sellack. Six beautifully hand sewn Roman blinds in Chatham Glyn's Tweed (Earth) to cosy up the main restaurant area. In keeping with the traditional interiors, James chose the heritage brass chain. We're looking forward to returning in April for phase two. If you haven't already visited, you're missing out on a little gem, which we're so lucky to have just a short drive from town. We speak from personal experience when we say we've enjoyed exceptional food and service here. The surroundings are beautiful, both inside the inn and outside in the garden. Thank you to James for supporting our business, it is very much appreciated ❤️
