If I had a £1,500 wedding flower budget, these are the 3 things I’d prioritise…
As a wedding florist, I’m often asked where couples should spend their flower budget to make the biggest impact.
My answer is usually this:
1. Your bridal bouquet
Your bouquet will be in some of your most important photographs and by your side for most of the day. A beautiful, thoughtfully designed bouquet is always worth investing in.
2. Statement ceremony flowers
Whether it’s urns, floor meadows or a floral arch, ceremony flowers create a huge visual impact and set the tone for the day. Even better, many designs can be repurposed for your reception afterwards.
3. A few larger moments rather than lots of little ones
I’d always choose one or two impactful floral installations over spreading the budget too thinly. A couple of beautiful statement pieces will have far more impact than lots of smaller arrangements.
The good news? Wedding flowers don’t have to cost a fortune to look beautiful. With thoughtful design and seasonal blooms, it’s possible to create a luxurious look at a range of budgets.
If you’re planning your wedding and wondering how best to spend your flower budget, we’d love to help!
