In order for a wax candle to burn with a beautiful flame for a long time, it needs to be trimmed properly. As this cannot be done properly with ordinary scissors, a metal trimmer is indispensable. With its ergonomic shape, you can easily reach into the burnt-out candle and trim the wick evenly, removing the superfluous part.
