It’s so very nearly done 😍 Just a couple of ends need stitching in now and then it’s complete.
It’s definitely not perfect (probably because I didn’t follow any pattern lol) but moo loves it and for a first attempt at making a dress I’m bloody impressed with myself 😁🥰

Omg 😍 The dress is finally coming together and nice to see it on moo. The sides need taking in a little so they have been pinned and the straps need stitching in place but I’m so excited to see this piece actually looking like a dress now. Who knew I’d be able to make a dress from scratch and without using a pattern 🤷‍♀️ crazy haha.
I can’t wait for the dress to be finished and actually worn properly 🩷

I haven’t sewn it all together yet but the skirt for my daughters dress is starting to come together 😍 I’m happy with the progress so far although wish I had more time to make things.
I’m not using a pattern for the dress, I just have a vision of how I want it to look and what I know my daughter will be happy wearing.
This project is definitely out of my comfort zone but I do like to challenge myself, even if I am still just learning how to sew haha.
